3. Buff’s
This is the place to be if you’re in Canyon.
We stopped by on our way home and it did not disappoint!!
My kids adored playing in the sandpit while we waited for the dinner (despite this Mom’s personal aversion to sand pits, but that’s a tale for another day).
The dinner arrived swiftly, and the service was excellent. The hubs kitchen sink was not meant to contain cheese (he is allergic to dairy), but they were kind enough to get him another one without.
My kids’ litmus test for how terrific a brunch spot is the biscuits and gravy. She stated it was one of the nicest she’d ever had (and she’s had a lot of them).
My second child chose the French toast with bacon (which she placed on my plate). The quantity of French toast was great, and the pieces were thick! She enjoyed slathering her syrup on and devouring it!
I had a basic 1 egg scrambled with an English muffin and it satisfied me! A good source of protein for a day of trekking and tourism.
If you have the opportunity, sit outdoors. It was shady and wonderful!
4. Texas Rose Canyon
The atmosphere is really relaxed, the rolls are great, and to top it all off, a cinnamon roll was delivered for dessert, which was amazing.
The only complaint we have is that the wedge salad is just too large; we couldn’t eat it while working together!
My wife ordered the kc strip and I had the lg ribeye, and both steaks were cooked to perfection.
5. Feldman’s Wrong Way Diner
Restaurants in Canyon TX, This is an excellent spot to go if you’re searching for something nice to eat near Palo Duro Canyon. They offer traditional Southern classics such as chicken fried steak and beef tips with a grin. Our waitress was really kind and helpful. Everything was a hit with our group, particularly the chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and beef tips. The chilli cheese fries, chips, and queso were also delicious. We’d certainly come back.
6. Canyon Ranch Steaks & Sports

7. Mickey’s Place
Restaurants in Canyon TX, This structure used to house two separate restaurants. And I loved one of them, so Mickey’s place has a lot to live up to. The inside of the restaurant is well designed. The guys in charge of designing and decorating the restaurant did an excellent job. My drink was a little underwhelming, but it wasn’t a major problem. The salad I began with was quite fresh, and the champagne dressing was delicious. I had to order lasagna since I am a huge admirer of the meal, while my wife ordered manicotti with Italian sausage. The lasagna had a lot of taste, space, and sauce; nevertheless, the sauce was a little bland. My wife felt the Italian sausage was a little wet for some reason, and I agreed; nonetheless, the overall meal was rather nice. Mickey’s Place is a fantastic new addition to Canyon’s downtown dining scene.
8. Sayakomarn’s Restaurant
The meal was always delicious, and the service was exceptional. The previous time we went to the restaurant, the experience seemed destined to fail from the start. The hostess greeted us rudely, our waitress was unresponsive, there was no silverware for the first 20 minutes we were there, the meal took up to 30 minutes to arrive, need I go on? The meal was delicious as always, but the service was underwhelming.
9. Buenos Dias
This is the best brunch restaurant in town. Everything is freshly prepared and created to order. I can’t get enough of their French toast and their deliciously crispy bacon. The chicken and waffles were adequate. Because it was so tasty and soft, the chicken was clearly hand-breaded. Next time, I may simply get their chicken tender basket.
When you initially arrive, you place your order and then go to pick a seat. They offer a wall of unusual mugs from which you may pick to have a cup of hot chocolate or coffee. A fascinating location.
10. Joe Taco
Restaurants in Canyon TX, Everything in Canyon, TX is fairly priced, as is everything else. We arrived around 6 p.m. on a Monday when the weather was pleasant and breezy. We were starving after a long day of driving.
I suggest sitting outdoors. This location has a wonderful appeal. The whole crew was polite and attentive. The drinks were delicious. I received an Octoberfest. Our meals were also delicious. The cost for each of us was about $10 or $15.
